Today is my send off for training camp!

I cannot express how grateful I am for all of your prayers, donations, and support towards this trip and for what God has done and will do in my life. You have helped me to be fully funded and raise $8755. Praise God!

Now, as I look forward towards training camp, I am stoked to be go where God is calling me to be. Whether its meeting new friends, being poured into and equipped by mentors, or just living in a tent for next couple of months!

I know I have a lot to look forward to but, a little piece of me feels uprooted. Leaving all the things I would call home, like friends, family, and work, for a short time. Leaving me with a new perspective. A perspective that shows me how much we hold on to the gifts of life without acknowledging the one who gives gives good gifts.

I am reminded of Proverbs 18:24, which talks about friendship.

"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."

A reminder that there is not a more personal and closer friendship, that has an everlasting effect, than with Jesus Christ. So as I look forward to going to Honduras, Guatemala, and Indonesia I pray God will show me a new perspective of how he loves and is present for his children.
